Description
This contemporary abstract artwork is composed of a dynamic interplay of colors — smoky grays, deep blues, and muted greens are energized by vivid, rusty orange-red strokes that slash and scrape across the surface. The brushwork ranges from dense and turbulent in some areas to softer, more blended passages in others, creating a sense of both movement and tension.
The composition has a loose horizontal structure: darker, heavier tones anchor the top and bottom edges, while the central area opens into a lighter, almost glowing space, giving the impression of depth or a break in the storm. The orange marks act like visual sparks, pulling the viewer’s eye across the canvas and connecting otherwise contrasting zones.
It has an expressive, almost landscape-like quality — though non-representational, it hints at natural elements such as sky, land, and water, filtered through emotion and memory rather than literal depiction. -
