This striking Mid-Century Modernist floor lamp, crafted in the United States circa 1950, epitomizes the era's focus on minimalism and refined materials. A polished brass and black enamel stem forms the foundation, rising from a sculptural brass cylindrical supports arranged in a tripod form. Exuding a diffused glow downwards from each illuminated element, housed in black enamel with a frosted glass diffuser and pierced black enameled metal diffuser on top of each of the three illuminated elements. The discs appear to hover effortlessly as they encircle the central rod, extending from the central frame with refined brass attachments.
The minimalist three-disc design contributes to the lamp's sculptural quality, making it as much a piece of art as it is functional lighting.
