Vintage three-seat armless sofa in charcoal bouclé with an off-white powder-coated steel frame designed by Bruce Hannah and Andrew Morrison for Knoll (1971, New York, NY USA). The design was inspired by the extruded aluminum of a sailboat mast.
Upholstery is a subtle two-tone gray bouclé, and either side can be displayed: the front cushions are a charcoal bouclé (Kravet 36114-11), and the back is a slate bouclé (Kravet 36120-21) - the front is a shade lighter and the weave is looser than the back.
Original off-white powder coated frame shows light nicks/scuffs consistent with age/use, and the steel back frame bar shows light scuffing. Newly reupholstered.
Retains the dated (1971) Knoll International label.
