Description
Beautifully crafted from birdseye maple with fine inlay detailing, the elegant, symmetrical form features scrolled ends and a gently curved frame, characteristic of the late Empire to early Louis-Philippe transition. The light tone and figured grain of the birdseye maple give the piece a luminous quality, while subtle inlaid accents enhance its neoclassical elegance. Raised on splayed stylized feet, this daybed reflects the restrained opulence typical of the Charles X period, offering both decorative appeal and functional grace.
Interior- Wd: 74", Dpth: 48.5". Note: This bed interior is a bit shorter and wider than a modern twin mattress. As such, a custom mattress will be needed in order to fully enjoy this daybed. -
