An elegant Louis XV period chest of drawers from the 18th century, crafted in solid walnut and distinguished by its graceful curves on three sides. The commode features a beautifully serpentine front, opening to two spacious drawers with carved frieze details on both the drawer faces and front uprights. Each drawer retains its original ornate bronze escutcheons and Rococo-style pull handles, lending a refined decorative flourish. The piece rests on four subtly curved cabriole legs that enhance its light and flowing silhouette. A functioning key is included, operating the original locks on both drawers. With its warm patina and delicate proportions, this chest exemplifies the craftsmanship and elegance of French provincial furniture during the reign of Louis XV.
