Italian painting from the first half of the 20th century. Oil on canvas, first canvas, painting depicting a view of a snow-capped mountain with a lake, of excellent pictorial quality. The painting is signed lower left, C. Bentivoglio (see photo), attributable to the painter Cesare Bentivoglio (1868-1952). Authentication is missing.

The artwork unfolds vertically, with the painter skillfully mirroring the view in the lake below, a truly captivating work. The modern, carved and gilded wooden frame is beautifully decorated. This well-proportioned painting would easily fit into any space in the home, making it a perfect choice for antique dealers, interior decorators, and collectors of Italian views. In good condition and with a lovely patina. Internal dimensions: H 116.5 x W 86.5 cm.
