French 19th Century Ebonized Enfilade
-
Description
Dimensions: 41 ¼” H x 70 ¼” W x 19 ½” D
A timeless storage piece for refined and modern tastes, this 19th century French mahogany enfilade has a more recent ebonized finish that beautifully contrasts the white marble top for a touch of drama in a foyer or dining room. The narrow case is crowned by a recent cut of rectangular marble in translucent white with pale green veining, finished to flat edges that keep the overall profile clean and linear. Note there is a small flea-bite chip along the front of the stone (see the image gallery for more information). Across the frieze are three drawers: the left and right drawers use angular bail pulls to slide open while the center drawer retains a working lock & key behind the shield escutcheon. Below, three paneled doors enclose a divided interior of one long shelf spanning the first and middle doors with a smaller cabinet behind the third door. All doors lock by their individual keys, four keys total included. Cleaned, polished, and tightened, this gorgeous antique enfilade is ready for your interior.
