Sofa in Hardwood & Loose Cushions in Blue Fabric, Joaquim Tenreiro, 1950s - Lot 500A

This one-of-a-kind four seat sofa with no arms was designed by Joaquim Tenreiro and manufactured by Tenreiro Moveis e Decoraçoes in the late 1950s or early 1960s. The sofa features a solid hardwood structure that has been completely reinforced. The recently upholstered loose cushions are in a blue velvety fabric that is nothing but soft and very comfortable. The sofa retains the original manufacturing label.
