Earliest stained glass patchwork square dish signed 'Frances Stewart & Michael Higgins'. Michael Higgins was a King's Scholar at Eton College and studied at Cambridge University. He became head of visual design at the Chicago Institute of Design. Frances Stewart was one of his students in the 1940's and this particular piece of glass was made by them during that time. The work is in excellent condition with etched signature.
