Mid-Century Baguès Tripartite Coffee Table in Bronze Doré with Palmier Design
-
Description
A beautifully refined 1960s French coffee table by Maison Baguès, designed with the timeless craftsmanship and glamour that define the Parisian decorative arts of the period.
This tripartite table features a sculptural bronze doré frame with Baguès’ signature palmier motif — graceful palm fronds that encircle the edge and flow elegantly down the slender, tapering legs. The three-section antiqued églomisé mirrored glass top adds a soft, luminous finish. Églomisé refers to a traditional technique in which glass is gilded on the reverse side, creating a subtle, reflective glow that feels both luxurious and time-worn.
Perfectly balanced between sophistication and warmth, this table brings a touch of Parisian refinement to any setting — from a layered, collected interior to a crisp modern space in need of a hint of vintage glamour. A truly exceptional example of mid-century French design by one of the era’s most celebrated ateliers. -
