The "Sabará" trunk, designed by master Sergio Rodrigues in 1965, is a versatile piece with ample storage space suitable for various environments and purposes. Crafted from solid Brazilian hardwood, it features a distinctive four-legged structure. The trunk is adorned with a beautiful Brazilian hardwood veneer, showcasing a patina that accentuates the gentle marks of time. Its mid-century style is complemented by round handles that add to its aesthetic appeal. Expertly restored by a renowned wood restorer in Rio de Janeiro, the trunk is in excellent condition, with minor signs of age visible mainly in the lower corners. Contemporary and vintage publications showcasing this elegant piece are included in the last images. Two Sabará trunks are available: Lots 245 and 330.
