-
Description
Lovely rustic, late 19th century Tramp Art wall mirror from the period around 1870 in Austria. Artfully handcarved out of fine basswood, the solid frame impresses with its great looking notch cut design, embedded in a simple but still spectacular design. The protruding corners in combined with the very dark brown, almost black looking surface, confers this antique mirror an outstanding look. A real beautiful example of a rustic wall mirror in our highly demanded Tramp Art section. The mirror glass has been renewed during the restoration process and the copper clamp on the backside makes wall mounting easy.
