1970s Brass 8-Bulb Flush Mount Attributed to Gaetano Sciolari.
A rare 1970s Italian design executed in attractively patinated brass, which accommodates 8 bulbs of choice. A highly functional yet playful flush mount of attractive scale and incomparable refinement.
Gaetano Sciolari designed lamps for Stilnovo and Lyfa along with other iconic manufacturers of fine midcentury lighting. Throughout the 1960s and 70s he created refined, futuristic, and functional pieces. His innovative approach to materials such as chrome, brass, and crystal have made his work highly sought after by discerning collectors.
Accommodates 8x 60W max equivalent standard medium base (e26) LED bulbs (LED only, included). Pictured and ships with 8x Tala 'Sphere II' LED bulbs. Professionally modified for US electrical and for mounting over US j-box. Not UL listed, but UL listing possible from 3rd party vendor for additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.
