Mobilier AVEA Writing Desk in Solid Oak Belgium 1930s

A smaller scale modernist writing desk in solid oak by ‘Mobilier AVEA’. Aalst / Alost, Belgium, 1930s.

Great subtle and simple design without to much ornamentation, yet very rich in details and quality. Features great yet very subtle carved details on the legs and stretchers - and a wonderful logo at the back. A versatile piece, that also can be used as a freestanding unit. Features a sliding shelf and one drawer.

Would be wonderful as a writing table / desk in a smaller room, or even vanity table combined with a mirror.
