Description
Acrylic on canvas
Christine Pultz is a French animal painter born in 1953 who lives & works in Pontault-Combault, France. Through her passion for painting animals, especially feline portraits, Christine Pultz feels that her focus on each hair, each claw, each reflection in the eyes of the animals she paints shows her desire to make them immortal. She adds: « I know that today, polar bears, tigers, lynxes, and snow panthers…but also Beluga whales, golden eagles, chimpanzee, red squirrels, bees, and many other species…risk extinction. That is why I hope that the animals I have portrayed, or will paint in the future , might open a sense of responsibility in the hearts of certain people. Animal art must continue as long as mankind exists to shine a light on those animals that may no longer survive ». She is member of prestigious international associations as Societé des Arts, Sciences et Lettres, Societé des Artistes Animaliers in Bry sur Marne, France, Marwell International Wildlife Art Society in Wickham, England, SAB Expo in Belgium in Grand Sablon at the Ancienne Nonciature in Brussels, Gallery Costermans in Brussels, Belgium, Salon International de Vittel, France, Société des Artistes Français in Grand Palais, Paris, France, Reijinsha Prize in Tokyo, Japan, Salon d’Automne, Paris, France, Verdurier House of Limoges, France. She is published in many books about wildlife art as Contemporary Artist in the Animal Arts by Abbate Piolé Publishers, The Cat, The Bird in African Wildlife in Contemporary Art Abbate by Piolé Publishers, AnimalsExtinction by Abbate Piolé Publishers, International Contemporary Artists, vol VIII, ICA Publishing, New York US French Press Magazines "Pratique des Arts, Plaisirs de Peindre, Dessins & Peintures, Secrets d’artistes by Éditions Diverti. Her artworks belong to many public and private collections in Roissy en France, at the Belgium Royal family or from the King of Morocco. -
