Description
This is a very good example of a traditional English Silver Plate Tea Tray that dates to the late 19th century. The tray is elaborately detailed and finely cast in the Rococo style, silver plated and hand chased. The applied shell and Rococo detailing is of the highest quality. The finely cast rocaille feet are an additional indication of quality. The tray is hallmarked in two locations. This exceptional tray is in overall very good condition, especially considering its age and type of use. It is ready to ship and will make an outstanding addition to traditional Holiday celebrations.
