Small Louis XV–Style Marquetry Side Table with Floral Inlay, France

An elegant small Louis XV–style side table, finely executed with floral marquetry and graceful proportions. The rectangular top is inlaid with a delicate floral composition and framed by a brass gallery, echoed again at the lower shelf for visual continuity. The table opens with a single drawer and an additional pull, providing discreet functional storage while preserving the lightness of the form.

The four arched legs are subtly curved in the Louis XV manner and terminate in decorative bronze sabots, adding refinement and protection. These legs are joined by a shaped crotch shelf, veneered en suite, which enhances both stability and aesthetic balance. The warm-toned wood veneer displays careful grain selection, complementing the precision of the marquetry work.
