Description
Made in France around 1900, this conservatory bistro table has finely detailed ironwork. Bistro and conservatory tables of this kind, built with iron bases, were used in cafes, conservatories, and gardens, valued for their light, decorative structure and durability. The detailed ironwork gives the table its decorative character, while the form is suited to both indoor and sheltered outdoor use. Suited to a conservatory, garden room, kitchen, or terrace, the table provides a compact surface for refreshment or display. Its turn-of-the-century date and French origin give it period character. The iron construction and decorative detail suit both traditional and plainer modern interiors. As a French conservatory bistro table, it offers a practical surface together with the decorative appeal of period ironwork, working as a cafe-style table in a garden room, conservatory, or kitchen, or as an occasional table elsewhere in the home.
This is an antique and having been around for a long time, it will show signs of wear. Antique pieces have very much sought-after character and associated flaws. Please review photos for condition & contact us with questions! -
