Arthur Court (1928-2015) was a renowned California designer known for his nature-inspired, whimsical metalware, especially cast aluminum tableware, blending his love for the outdoors (Minnesota childhood) and world travels (WWII Navy service, African safaris) into designs featuring animals, plants, and exotic forms, starting his eponymous design company in San Francisco in 1966 to bring affordable luxury and art to everyday dining.
