Description
This striking amethyst cathedral geode reveals deep purple crystals lining a hollowed chamber, with a natural stone exterior showing the characteristic pale green coating typical of Brazilian specimens. The restored piece has been carefully cleaned to showcase the lustrous crystal formations within while preserving the raw, unpolished outer shell.
Natural amethyst geodes of this type are typically formed within volcanic or sedimentary rock over millions of years. This cathedral-style formation, where crystals line the interior of a cavity, represents one of the most prized configurations among collectors for its dramatic visual impact and the geometric precision of the quartz crystals.
