French full-size bed executed in the Louis XV style, constructed of walnut and richly figured burl walnut veneers. The shaped headboard and footboard display flowing rococo lines, molded edges, and elegant cabriole legs, characteristic of late 19th-century French revival furniture. The warm tones and dramatic burl figuring lend the piece a refined presence, making it a striking example of turn-of-the-century craftsmanship inspired by 18th-century French design.
