Large foldable and swiveling wall lamp. Arlus Editeur, France, circa 1950.
Black lacquered metal and polished brass.
New cotton “drum” shade, identical to the original. Cotton bulb cover with a clip that attaches to the bulb, removable.
With two 360° joints and a ball joint at the shade.
Height of the lampshade: 10.5 cm (4.13 inches)

Story
Arlus was a French lighting publisher, very active since the 1950s and close to the modern design movement. The house’s headquarters were in Paris in the 11th arrondissement and its exhibition store in the 17th arrondissement.
