Description
A refined set of three French nesting tables crafted in mahogany during the mid-twentieth century. Elegant in both proportion and construction, the tables are designed to slide neatly beneath one another, offering versatility while maintaining a cohesive and architectural presence. Each table rests on four sheathed legs terminating in saber form, lending a light and balanced silhouette.
The tops are fitted with glass panels, each framed by brass rods that add contrast and definition. Decorative brass marquetry threads accent the tops, aprons, feet, and crosspieces, reflecting careful workmanship and attention to detail. The set has been professionally restored in our workshop: the glass tops have been replaced, the tables fully dismantled and reassembled, and both the mahogany and brass elements cleaned and repatinated.
The result is a stable, well-functioning set that slides smoothly and evenly. Ideal for use in a living room or sitting area, these nesting tables combine practicality with refined French decorative style.
