Description
Impressive 19th century Biedermeier commode or also called "trumeau" from the famous period around 1840 in Austria. Veneered with extraordinary selected walnut wood, this remarkable Biedermeier commode shows an absolute dreamlike, mirrormatched grain which "runs" down from the top to the bottom without any interruption. A true masterpiece of Biedermeier storage furniture which looks more like a piece of art than a simple dresser due to its absolute extraordinary set veneer pattern. Featuring one drawer, adorned by lovely brass applications, this remarkable Austrian Biedermeier trumeau commode offers much storage space with two large compartments behind the lockable double door. The traditional hand-polished shellac finish reinforces the outstanding grain and completes the unique look.
