Edward Wormley for Dunbar – Rare Vanity and/or Writing Desk, circa 1945
This exquisite desk features a mahogany wood construction with an oil finish, topped with new Edelman cherry calf-skin leather.
Design Details:
- Elegant curved handles open to reveal two pencil drawers, with a third hidden drawer in the center featuring discreet slots for easy access.
- Includes two deep U shaped drawers below pencil drawers, showcasing curved inner details that enhance both style and functionality.
- Splayed legs with inlaid leather create a streamlined design, making it an ideal writing desk.

- Height: 29 inches (29.50 to the top of the back lip)
- Depth: 21 inches
- Width: 50 inches
Condition:
This desk is in excellent restored condition, showcasing the craftsmanship of Dunbar.Edelman leather is a natural product and is expected to develop a beautiful patina over time.
