The "Model 1534" pendant was designed and manufactured by Luxus in Sweden during the 1960s. The design features a broad, shallow dome shade crafted from white-toned plexiglass that surrounds a central cylindrical core. This dual-layer plexiglass construction diffuses light evenly to create a soft ambient glow. The shade is suspended by a turned teak wood frame and includes the original conical ceiling canopy with the manufacturer's stamp.

Luxus was a Swedish lighting and furniture manufacturer founded in Vittsjö by Uno and Östen Kristiansson in 1950.
