Wall sconce designed by the renowned Belgian architect Léon Stynen. The design features a vertical, architectural form with a polished chrome-plated steel housing and frosted glass panels that create a soft, diffused glow. These fixtures reflect the transition from Art Deco ornamentation to the streamlined aesthetic of early Modernism.

Léon Stynen (1899–1990) was a pivotal figure in 20th-century Belgian architecture and design. A student of the prestigious Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, he was deeply influenced by Le Corbusier and became a leading proponent of the International Style in Belgium. His work, ranging from residential villas to large-scale public buildings like the deSingel arts center in Antwerp, is characterized by functionalism, structural clarity, and a refined use of industrial materials.

Materials:	Chromed steel structure with frosted glass vertical panels. The frame features a domed top and recessed base, holding multiple shaped glass fins that diffuse light from a central source.
Condition:	One sconce is in original condition; the second has undergone expert restoration to several glass elements. The chrome surfaces show minor age-related wear but remain bright.
