Description
This elegant Louis XVI–style side table is crafted in cherry wood and features refined, classical proportions characteristic of the style. The table opens with two discreet side drawers, each fitted with traditional drop handles, along with a central pull at the front, offering both symmetry and practical storage.
The rectangular top is covered in original dark leather, presenting a rich surface with attractive age and patina consistent with careful use. The leather remains in good condition and enhances the table’s understated sophistication. Slender, tapered legs emphasize the piece’s lightness and architectural balance, making it well suited for use as a side table, writing table, or occasional table in both traditional and transitional interiors.
Produced in France during the 20th century, this piece reflects high-quality craftsmanship and enduring French decorative traditions. Minor wear is consistent with age and use and contributes to the table’s authentic character.
This is an antique and having been around for a long time, it will show signs of wear. Antique pieces have very much sought-after character and associated flaws. Please review photos for condition & contact us with questions! -
