Description
Regency Style Round Pedestal Table, Greek Key Inlay & Bronze Claw Feet & Mounts
Offered for sale is a Regency-style pedestal center table, often referred to as a library or center hall table crafted in figured mahogany. The top features a beautifully bookmatched flame mahogany veneer, accented by a bold satinwood Greek key inlaid border. The frieze is detailed with black reeded banding and centered with a decorative brass mount, adding strong neoclassical character.
The table is raised on a faceted pedestal base terminating in four saber legs with brass paw feet and applied brass accents. The proportions are elegant and substantial, making it ideal as a center table, library table, or statement piece in an entry or sitting room.
Condition:
Good overall condition consistent with age and use. Minor surface wear and a small area of edge veneer loss, as shown in photos.
Presents very well.
A striking example of Regency-inspired design with timeless classical detailing. -
