    A rare 17th century Spanish Colonial trestle table, the single plank mahogany top with dovetailed cleats fastened to splayed trestle supports with original iron bolts and supported by original wrought iron stretcher braces.
    While tables of this form in walnut and originating from Spain are often found in baroque furniture, tables from the Americas and made from dense "Cuban" or "Santo Domingan" mahogany are much rarer.
