Description
Elegant and understated wall mirror designed by Paul Frankl for Johnson Furniture, executed in his signature waxed cork. The clean, rectilinear frame highlights the natural warmth and finely mottled texture of the cork, offering a refined organic contrast to the crisp mirrored glass. This material-forward approach is emblematic of Frankl’s late work, where he explored tactile surfaces within a modernist vocabulary.
Well-proportioned and highly versatile, the mirror is currently configured for vertical installation but can easily be modified to hang horizontally, allowing for flexible placement over a dresser, console, or vanity.
The reverse retains the original factory model number stamp, further supporting its authenticity and original production by Johnson Furniture.
Presented in very good condition with light wear consistent with age and use, this piece pairs seamlessly with the matching cork dresser we currently have available or stands alone as a sophisticated accent rooted in classic mid-century design.
Frankl dresser is shown for scale and is available for purchase separately. -
