Floor lamps from the 1930s often reflect a fascinating overlap between Art Deco and earlier organic design influences. During this period, designers moved away from traditional ornamentation while still embracing expressive lines and natural inspiration. In Northern and Central Europe, materials such as birch were widely used for their flexibility and light tone, allowing makers to experiment with curvature and more fluid structures.

This floor lamp highlights the influence through floral references and softly undulating lines. This model features a slender, curved birch stem carved along its length, which rises from a compact circular base in a continuous, flowing arc. Condition:
In good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use. The item has recently been rewired and reconditioned. The shade has been custom-made by our in-house atelier. Visible scratches and marks on the stem and base. Due to the nature and age of the materials, the item may have some discolouration. This lamp is compatible with an E26 / E27 (standard) fitting. All lighting can be converted for US usage.
