Description
Striking pair of tall étagère / display cabinets designed by German artist Bernhard Rohne for Mastercraft, USA, circa 1970s. Each cabinet features Rohne’s signature acid‑etched and patinated brass panels framing clear glass doors and side panels, creating a strong sculptural presence with a warm, golden glow.
Integrated interior lighting in the canopy (recessed ceiling fixtures as visible in the photos) to highlight objects and enhance the depth of the patinated brass.
Ideal as vitrines for art glass, sculpture, or collections; their tall, narrow footprint also makes them suitable as architectural room
dividers or flanking cabinets in living or dining rooms.
Very good vintage condition with gentle wear consistent with age and use; brass and glass surfaces show minor marks and patina that enhance the character of the piece, and the etched panels retain strong color and definition. -
