Provenance: Originally belonged to Eliza Jumel and used by her at the Jumel Mansion. To Mrs. J. Amory Haskell to the Museum of the City of New York.

Reference: The chairs appear in the 1929 Girl Scout’s Loan Exhibition, entry 697. They also appear in the 1957 exhibit at the Museum of the City of New York, Furniture by New York Cabinetmakers, number 78.
