Swedish 19th Century Solid Birch Oval Occasional Table

Made in Sweden around 1880, this oval occasional table is constructed in solid birch. Birch, a pale, fine-grained timber, was widely used in Swedish furniture and gives the table a light, warm tone. The oval top provides a generous surface without sharp corners, suited to use as an occasional or side table in a sitting room, hall, or bedroom.
