This recto verso book cover 50 x 71 x 0,2 cm - 19,6 x 27,5 x 0,07 in is a highly successful example of Joan Miró's mature graphic language. It distills many of the qualities that made his late work so distinctive: spontaneity, expressive brushwork, and a poetic use of signs. It has been extracted from a Folio book related to lithography's book in 50's.

Joan Miró (1893–1983) was one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. A Catalan painter, sculptor, ceramicist, and printmaker, he developed a highly personal visual language that combined abstraction, symbolism, and poetic imagination. Born in Barcelona in 1893, Miró initially studied business before dedicating himself to art. His early paintings were rooted in Catalan landscapes and rural life, but after moving to Paris in the 1920s, he became associated with the Surrealists. Although he never formally joined the movement, his dreamlike imagery and spontaneous forms made him one of its leading figures.
His mature style is instantly recognizable.
