A wonderful decorative rectangular Venetian serving tray by Ercole Barovier, dating from the 1940s and handcrafted in Murano, Italy. This exquisite piece consists of a finely etched mirror featuring a charming scene with romantic Venetian figures set within an idyllic landscape. The tray is surrounded by a swirled, mouth-blown clear Murano glass rope frame with rounded corners, enriched with gold flecks embedded within the glass. It also features two elegant gilt-metal handles on the sides. The tray is in very good condition with only minor patina to the mirror. Both the mirror and the glass frame are free of any damage. 16.5 x 11“.
