Dimensions: 31 ¾” H x 17” W x 16” D

A French ebonized étagère from the 1870’s, combining practical storage with refined decorative detailing. The three-tier design features clover-form shelves with delicately engraved decoration and rope-moulded bronze edges, centered by an inset marble disc on top. The three upper supports are ornamented with finely cast gilt-bronze female caryatids, a distinctive decorative element that complements the piece’s elegant design. Turned and chamfered legs terminate in graceful splayed feet. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering the age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
