Description
An Art Collection lounge chair in dark brown leather. The leather seat is in impeccable condition with minimal patina, and the leather armrest covers show no wear. There is only one small scratch on the back of the chair. The chair's solid stainless steel frame, with its attractive lines, lends it a light and airy appearance. Timeless design crafted to the highest quality standards.
This armchair was designed by the German industrial designer Rudolf B. Glatzel in the 1970s. The Art Collection series was initially manufactured by Dreipunkt and later continued by Walter Knoll. The family business Wilhelm Knoll was founded in 1865 and quickly became known for its high-quality leather furniture. From 1925 onwards, Walter Knoll was an important figure in the avant-garde movement and focused on the production of Bauhaus furniture. Walter Knoll remains one of the leading German furniture manufacturers. The Art Collection series is characterized by its exceptionally high-quality furniture. -
