Description
This rare ‘Regent’ armchair was designed by Marco Zanuso and produced by Arflex in Italy in the 1960s. Characteristic for this iconic model are the generous, outward placed armrests and the dynamic lines of the side profiles. The dimensions and slightly higher back make this a very comfortable lounge chair.
The lounge chair has been fully reconditioned and professionally re-upholstered in a taupe fabric with contrasting bright grey piping and contrasting buttons on the seat and backrest. The design of the chair is completed by the black lacquered metal legs and rosewood feet.
The chair is in very good, reupholstered condition. The legs in nicely patinated condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. The wooden legs have been refinished and with minor wear.
