Description
This work, part of a series titled The Sensory World-Part Series, is based on a broad interpretation of sense-meaning, reflecting the nature of the present, including human physical senses, language, thought, ego, and social sense. It does not view the sensory and mental worlds as separate but interconnected.
The Sensory World-Part Series depicts a minor world within the larger universe, capturing events occurring in specific parts. The sensory composition series acts like a papyrus, recording these events.
The artist uses a grid-based composition for these works, similar to the manuscript paper used by Korean writers in the past. This structure helps to create a sense of order and coherence within the sensory world's chaotic and often unpredictable nature. -
