Description
Italian 1930's Crystal Table Mirror with Iron Easel.
A rare and elegant Italian Art Deco tabletop vanity mirror. Featuring a central circular silvered mirror set within a substantial, dish-form surround of heavy clear crystal with a brass border. The weighted glass frame catches light from every angle, creating a luminous halo around the central reflective disc. The entire piece rests on an integrated wrought iron or blackened metal easel stand with curved support feet, providing a striking structural contrast to the translucent glass. The original mirror plate exhibits a light, authentic age-related foxing that underscores its age. An exceptional, sculptural decorative object ideal for a dressing table, console, or sideboard.
Italy, circa 1930's
Size: 15 1/2" diameter x Mirror plate alone is 10 1/2" diameter -
