Pair of Scandinavian Chests of Drawers, circa 1920

A pair of Scandinavian chests of drawers, circa 1920, offering matched case pieces of fine quality and generous width, finished in softly aged pale grey paint. True pairs of chests are perennially scarce and correspondingly useful: flanking a bed as oversized nightstands, standing symmetrically in a large bedroom or dressing room, or bringing order to both ends of a hallway. Each chest provides substantial drawer storage behind a well-proportioned front, built with the solid craftsmanship characteristic of Scandinavian workshops of the era. Their clean, restrained design and luminous painted surfaces allow them to work in period schemes and contemporary rooms alike, reading as quietly architectural rather than ornate. Sold as a pair, both pieces in sound condition with wear consistent with age.

This is an antique and having been around for a long time, it will show signs of wear. Antique pieces have very much sought-after character and associated flaws. Please review photos for condition & contact us with questions!
