Absolutely spectacular, large rustic Tramp Art wall mirror from the late 19th century around 1870 in Austria. This very special handcrafted, elaborately made rural wall mirror impresses with its outstanding looking variety of different elements: pyramid styled corners, interrupted by artfully designed, wooden diamond shaped applications in the middle parts of the frame. The so resulting, amazing looking patterns combined with different carved notch cut bars stained in beautiful varying shades of brown, the slightly protruding corners, as well as the doubled slim frame with unique carved bars on the outside, makes this one of a kind antique wall mirror an absolute extraordinary gem of a Tramp Art mirror. The mirror plate has been renewed during the restoration process. A gmetal clamp on the backside makes wall mounting easy.
