Description
This rare set of three armchairs, model ‘Dallas’, was designed by Folke Ohlsson and produced by the Swedish manufacturer DUX in the 1960s. Each chair retains its original DUX label on the inner frame. Please note that the listed price is per chair. Three chairs are available.
The elegant frame is in solid teak, with gracefully curved armrests, a rounded top rail and tapered legs. The slightly sloping backrest in French cane adds lightness and texture. The warm grain and finish of the teak offer a beautiful contrast with the cane and the soft tone of the upholstery. The open frame, gentle curves and natural materials give the chairs the warm, understated character of the Swedish Modern design era.
The chairs have been fully restored. The frames have been restored respecting the original patina on the wood, the cane backrests have been renewed and the seat cushions have been reupholstered in a refined Élitis ‘Hiroko’ fabric. The chairs are in very good condition and ready to use. -
