French 18th Century Solid Elm Tavern Table

$ 5,200
  • Description
    Dimensions: 29” H x 70 ¾” W x 25 ¾” D

    An 18th-century French solid elm farm table, perfect for anchoring a dining room or workspace. The top is made from four long elm planks, whose beautiful patina combines with the knots and wood grain to create a stunning, varied surface. The thick, heavy legs and stretcher provide ample support for the tabletop while the tavern design makes the table perfect for bench or banquette seating. Along the stretcher bar, we can see charming moments of wear from years of sitters resting their feet on the wood. Gently cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, ready for use in your interiors. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering the age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos. Please view the detailed image gallery for the current condition or reach out with any questions.
