Description
This exceptional pair of two-tier step-style end tables captures the sophisticated, graphic spirit of American mid-century atomic design. Each table is constructed with a dynamic, bi-level structural frame finished in a sleek, deep ebonized black lacquer that beautifully highlights the natural, tight graining of the oak or ash wood underneath.
The lower tier houses an inset panel of four glossy, hand-screened "The Tilers" ceramic art tiles on a crisp white ground, decorated with a whimsical atomic motif consisting of abstract starburst vectors, dark green shapes, and a vibrant crescent-yellow accent. The upper tier features an open, floating box-like construction elevated on miniature brass cylinder spacers, creating a striking geometric shadow gap. The tables are raised on robust, square-molded legs joined by a clean perimeter stretcher, combining architectural stability with high-style mid-century graphics. -
