Description
CHROME "SEE-THROUGH" CHANDELIER BY GAETANO SCOLARI
Italy, circa 1970s; retaining original Lightolier label to ceiling cap
Item # 108NOL27P
A striking design by Gaetano Scolari for Lightolier as part of his "See Through" series, the body is an array of curved chromed squared steel ribs that vertically encircle the cylindrical upright around which six spherical bulbs are evenly spaced. The form was offered in several sizes and shapes, this being a larger version with a 23" overall diameter. It retains the original Lightolier labels inside the ceiling cap.
Measurements: approx. 18" H from ceiling cap to underside of the lamp; approx. 23" in diameter
Condition Report: Trace oxidization and very faint pitting to chrome. All surfaces beautifully polished and waxed. Chandelier is fully functioning, but we always recommend all lighting be inspected and installed by a licensed electrician prior to use. -
