In all that we do, we attempt to create a timeless environment. When working with architects, upholsterers, curtain makers and all trades we tend to aim for the most classical and traditional approach. But it all comes down to starting with the architecture.
We are working in the islands of the Bahamas and Palm Beach, FL so very often our projects are what some consider "resort." When in the islands there is nothing prettier than a crispy, white bed with beautiful linens and pillows. We love to drape poster beds with white eyelet and other sheer fabrics. We use a ton of vintage rattan and wicker furniture and even more hand printed cottons and linens on clean white backgrounds. We are known for grasscloth walls, natural floor coverings and comfortable upholstery.
Our interiors also have books and palms and orchids and more books. They are rooms where one can read and little tables to hold drinks scattered about as well as pull up chairs dotted here and there for extra seating. In the islands we entertain at home constantly so arranging verandas for dining is critical. It is not uncommon for a dinner party of 24 to turn into dinner for 48 due the inclusive nature of island life

Amanda Lindroth

Amanda Lindroth was born in Florida in 1963 when South Florida was still sleeping. Her earliest memories include the beautiful nature of Florida combined with the glamour of 1960’s and 1970’s Palm Beach. She was educated at Wellesley in Boston. After graduation she spent a couple of years in Paris and traveled throughout Europe, which she found very inspirational.

Amanda worked at Women’s Wear Daily and W Magazine, covering parties and society. Following this Amanda moved to London and worked as the Public Relations Director for Gucci during Tom Ford’s renaissance of the brand.

After moving to Nassau, Amanda started doing interiors for her friends. She is heavily influence by the islands and island life. Her interiors are comfortable and breezy and she is strongly influenced by classical architecture and proportion.
