Terence Mack Associates
Showrooms
Terence Mack Associates is a NYC based full service interior architecture and decoration firm specializing in luxury
residential design. Known for his fluency in a broad range of styles, Terence's work reflects a distinctive ability to
create environments that expose a clients' individuality rather than impose a rigid style.
“I define my role as being primarily an interpreter of people’s dream and imaginations, and secondly as the person
whose inspiration, taste and expertise would accomplish the desired results.”
And while his work has a fresh pulse, it draws from a wellspring of imagery and traditions – allowing for idiosyncrasy
and subjective notions of beauty. Among his trademarks are soft, refined color palettes, the use of quality objects and
materials, historical references, and an emphasis on comfort and convenience. A modern, updated interpretation of
classical styles with meticulous attention to detail best describes his work. Terence is interested in ordering spaces to
accommodate the inconsistencies of modern life. Design and decoration is for him, basically, the business of culture-
ways to describe being alive right now, and is evident by the array of projects that line his shelves and fill his portfolio.
Staff
A native New Yorker, Terence began his design career in a related field - as that of a special events planner. His work creating unique " theme environments" soon became his passion and eventually led him to pursue interior design full time. He entered the renowned New York School of Interior Design and graduated with honors in an accelerated program and thus began his apprenticeship in the world of interiors. Throughout his 25+ year career, Terence has worked on a myriad of world class residential and hospitality projects, and developing a comprehensive knowledge of his craft as well as a loyal clientele.
His work has been featured in prestigious national shelter magazines and media including Architectural Digest, The Wall Street Journal, and Forbes. Recent projects include a spectacular, English Georgian style mansion on the grounds of the former Frick estate in Alpine, NJ, as well as other diverse projects throughout Manhattan, The Hamptons, Westchester, Fairfield County, Florida, and beyond.
